Lonjsko Polje Nature Park Map 
Čigoć – European Stork Village

If you are coming along the motorway from the direction of Zagreb or Slavonski Brod

• you need to get off the motorway at the Popovača exit – take the road to the right through the villages of Potok and Stružec towards Sisak – at the crossroad at which the city of Sisak is marked go straight ahead, do not go to the city, but turn to the left, towards the industrial zone – at the next crossroad turn towards the village of Lonja – then along the left bank of the Sava through the villages of Preloščica, Lukavec and Gušće to Čigoć.

When you come into the village of Čigoć

• because of the narrowness of the road which makes it impossible to park in the village, please could you park your bus or car behind the Community Centre on the left side of the road. There are toilets behind the Community Centre as well. After getting out of your bus, walk along the road about 150 m to house no. 26, on which there is a sign with the logo of the Lonjsko Polje Nature Park - this is the Nature Park Info Centre.

Krapje – Architectural Heritage Village

If you are coming from the direction of Zagreb or Slavonski Brod…
Your should get off the motorway at the Novska exit – go to the right along the road, in the direction of Jasenovac, at the crossroad in Jasenovac turn to the right and without turning go straight under the railway bridge; in the village of Drenov Bok, at the crossing, turn to the right towards Krapje village. Some 250 m from the entrance into the village, on the left hand side, standing by itself, is House no. 1 – this is the Nature Park Info Centre.

NB

If you are coming on a double-decker bus, it won’t be able to get under the railway bridge in Jasenovac, so after getting off the motorway you should turn to the left, up to the traffic light, and then once again go left in the direction of Nova Subocka – Stara Subocka – Plesmo – and in the village of Krapje turn to the left and go on for about 1 km until you get to house no. 1.
