Cultural heritage (tangible, intangible)
The Ethnic Heritage
Ethnographic collections keep specimens of traditional furnishings, tools, textiles and so on. The songs, dances, customs and oral traditions are part of the intangible cultural heritage and show the connection of the people with the historical period of the Military Frontier and the Sava River, which crucially determined the whole of life. The traditional attire worn in the Sava valley has Baroque characteristics, and is recognisable in the style, the floral motifs and the rich colouring.
